Week 7: Marycomb’s ways Chapt. 1

1. Think about a community in which you are a member - for  instance, your school, religion community , family or group of friends. What are some of the most important rules in that  community? Are these rules written down? What are the most  important unwritten rules, those not written down but everyone  knows about?
The most important rules in my group of friends are that we have to share with our friends,we have to respect one another and we cannot speak of certain things in front of certain people. These rules are not written down and the most important unwritten/unspoken rule is that we cannot break the trust built between each other.
2. What pivotal choices that you have made in your life or an  experience you have had that was influenced by the setting. What  other options might have been available to you if you lived in a  different place and time? What circumstances would have influenced  you to make a different decision?
The biggest choice I have made that was influenced by the setting I was in was to join the school production in my old school. I had the option of not joining the production if I was born in another country or if I was born earlier or later. If it wasn’t for my friends joining the production with me and supporting me, I wouldn’t have joined the production at all.
